Thank you for the information, but I don't know what you mean by a trial key? I don't even understand the concept of a trial. I suppose it is a '30 day' or 'three month' or something like that, for a nominal fee.
When you download the program from the company's website, you are downloading a trial. Then, when you have completed the trial, you have a license key that you can use to activate the program.
I am guessing that you are not actually satisfied with the program, so you should ask the company to buy a license for the full version. They have a direct contact link on their website.
Q:
What kind of wood is used for the decorating portions of a "hardwood" floor?
I want to refinish the floor of my house, and I am considering replacing it with a solid hardwood floor.
What kind of wood is used for the "decorating" portions of the floor?
I have no idea where the term "decorating" comes from, but the floors I've looked at have small skimmers or cut outs in the floor that hold the baseboards in place.
Thanks!

From someone who has done this:
You need two separate courses of flooring. The first is to have the solid flooring that will be the main flooring. The second is to have the platform of flooring that you want to "decorate" or have you skimmer cut out into.
Usually in houses in this area the flooring is installed with at least 3 coats of finish before the baseboard is installed. The first layer is at least a 2-3 mil finish. The second layer is usually something closer to a 1 mil. The final layer of finish is typically some sort of stain. The solid flooring is just finished and you are then ready for the flooring that will be placed on top.
The flooring that you are calling the "decorating portion" is in fact NOT the flooring that is going on top of the solid floor. The solid flooring is installed first and the decorative flooring is then installed on top. Once the platform is installed the bottom course of flooring is added, usually a 3-4 mil finish, before the baseboard is be359ba680
